Bridging the Gap between Science and Spirituality
Planned Giving
Open your heart to the possibility. The possibility of a world where studies of science and spirituality are integrated instead of competing. Where experiences that are now called anomalous phenomena are recognized as a natural part of the world. A world where the exploration of consciousness becomes central to the sciences.
Together we can make it happen.
Since 1935 the Rhine name has been at the forefront of the scientific investigation of ESP and other reported paranormal activities, and the nature of consciousness. From its early beginning as the Parapsychology Lab at Duke University, the Rhine has continued to grow and expand its activities.
Currently an independent non-profit, the Rhine name is still known throughout the world as the birthplace of ESP, maintaining the integrity of the sciences while following the data where it leads.
A planned gift provides for this future and helps to support the Rhine community as we build this future.
This information is designed to give you an overview of the planned gifts the Rhine can accept, and to give you practical steps to plan and execute your gift. Please consult your financial planner and/or attorney for financial and legal advice. If you have any questions about the Rhine’s long-term goals and initiatives, please contact us.

Sample Language for Wills and Beneficiary Designations
Supporting the Rhine’s work can be as simple as including a gift to the Rhine in your will, or naming the Rhine as a full or partial beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement IRA. Examples of how to do this are below.
You may consider using this or similar language when formalizing your planned gift and bequest intentions. Please note that this is simply a starting point – it should not be interpreted as legal advice, and you should consult an estate attorney to review your plans with you.
